Mission
The mission of the Environmental Leadership Academy is to:
Cultivate a community of emerging environmental specialists with the knowledge, skills and mind-set to tackle complex sustainability challenges to enhance the environment and contribute to solving the triple planetary crisis.
Provide immersive, experiential educational opportunities and impactful learning that deepen participants' understanding of environmental systems, challenges, issues and community based solutions.
Empower participants and develop individuals and environmentally-engaged learners and scholars to champion innovative approaches to implement impactful environmental sustainable initiatives, sharing best practices to amplify their collective impact.
Inspire, equip, and empower the next generation to play a meaningful role through environmental literacy and behaviour change to drive systematic change to create a more just, resilient, economically ethical, and ecologically balanced circular economy.
